Aurora Borealis
Aurora Borealis is about Emir of 9 years who are war refugee from Bosnia and end up in an asylum center in snowy Gratangsfjellet with his mother and sister. His big project is to find his father who is missing in Bosnia, but first he must find out if he has become a drug addict. Aurora Borealis is a charming and humorous story about a universal and relevant topic.
The story is based on the director's own experiences when he at the age of 9 arrived Gratangsfjellet as a refugee from Bosnia. His meeting with Norway, uncertainty about the father who remained in Bosnia, not to mention the Northern Lights, is the starting point for the story.
